Who we are

dreaMalta is the data controller for personal data processed through this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Maltese data protection law.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email address and, optionally, phone number.
• Listing data: property details, photos, authority declaration and timestamps.
• Enquiries and messages sent through dreaMalta.
• Reports, favourites and saved searches.
• Payment status and transaction references. We never store card details — these are handled by our payment provider.

Why we use it

• To provide your account and the services you request (contract).
• To review listings, prevent fraud and keep the platform safe (legitimate interests).
• To keep transaction and audit records (legal obligation).
• To send important notifications about your listings, payments and messages.

What is public

Property details and photos of approved listings are public. Advertiser email addresses and phone numbers are never displayed publicly. Reporter identities are never shared with advertisers.

Retention

We keep account data while your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your profile, favourites, saved searches and notifications. Payment and audit records may be retained where required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta. You can delete your account directly from your account page.
